Senior Associate, Wealth and Asset Management - Tax, PwC US Tax LLP, Los Angeles, CA. Help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. Advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis. Providing advice on tax implications of deals. Assist clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications. Supervise and coach teams. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools;
Leveraging tax knowledge and understanding of the tax preparation process to bring work to completion for private equity fund, fund of funds, and hedge fund clients;
Providing tax compliance consulting for a variety of entities, such as corporations, partnerships, pass-through entities, and/or Subchapter S corporations;
Assisting with reviewing and preparing allocations and tax returns such as Form 1065 and Form 1120 including forms and schedules such as Schedule K-1, K-2, K-3, 8804, and/or 1042; and
Working and creating international tax forms and footnotes (Form 5471, 1042, 8804, FBAR) to ensure full foreign fillings and disclosure in compliance with US tax Law.
50% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.
Travel requirement: Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% required.
