Under the general direction and guidance of the Airport Operations and Maintenance Manager, the Operations Maintenance Technician is responsible for working collaboratively with the operations team in ensuring the airport is safe for aircraft operations. The work performed includes but is not limited to operations, maintenance, alteration, repair and construction of airport buildings, airfields, and equipment.
The duties of our Airport Operations Maintenance Technician include maintaining the operational safety and excellence of the Northern Colorado Regional Airport 24 hours per day; 365 days per year. This entails maintaining the airfield facilities and operational areas to the highest levels including the achievement of airport safety in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Code of Federal Regulations Title 14 Part 139 and airport security in accordance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Regulations Title 49 Part 1542.
Northern Colorado Regional Airport is a part 139 certificated airport and is the 5th busiest airport in Colorado with exciting growth opportunities in its future. The airport is investing heavily in its infrastructure to include a new terminal building and a runway widening project slated for 2026 with the intent of drawing scheduled commercial service.
