What Process Control & Maint contributes to Cardinal Health
Process Control and Maintenance sets up and operates processing equipment to manufacture to established quality standards in order to meet production demands. Troubleshoots, repairs and conducts maintenance on equipment. Executes equipment qualifications on all new or modified tooling or equipment to test and qualify items and provide documented proof that operations are within established parameters. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, debug, repair automated facilities equipment such as air compressors, air dryers, air handlers, chillers, motor drives, powered doors, etc. Install, repair, and maintain facilities systems such as security cameras, intercoms, lighting, radios, computer wiring, fire alarms, building automation, etc.
Inspect circuits and wiring for defects, and repair or rewire system according to safety codes and regulations.
Participate in design, specifications, selections, installations, and commissioning of new or modified equipment to improve facilities processes, performance, and reliability.
Prepare standards for Preventive Maintenance, Modifications, ECOs, and prepares proper documentation for validations.
Provide written or graphical technical documentation for the Maintenance department.
Coordinate and oversee Contractor personnel to accomplish repairs or installations of equipment and systems.
Operate forklift, scissor lift, high-jacker, automobile, etc. when necessary to accomplish stated job functions.
Perform all daily, weekly, & monthly inspections, preventive and predictive maintenance as required and/or scheduled. Issue work order tickets and report work that needs to be done to shop team leader.
Organize time to follow-up and follow-through with maintenance items to ensure the proper execution of the P.M. program.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment within current plant standards.
Perform any necessary plumbing, electrical, machinery, welding or carpentry work as assigned.
Perform duties of shop mechanic as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferred.
EPA certification for refrigerants and maintenance of air conditioning equipment is preferred.
Industrial controls (PLC) experience or electronic repair experience is preferred.

Anticipated hourly range: $18.70 per hour - $30.97 per hour
