The IT Asset Management Analyst analyzes and forecasts IT asset management activities and processes for an asset portfolio currently valued at over 20 million dollars and expected to exponentially increase over the next 5 years. This position provides forecasting and logistical analysis for the operations and inventory management of IT assets. This position will provide analysis and be on project teams for University-wide device lifecycle initiatives, including on reporting on associated metrics, proposing changes to process to improve metrics, and reengineering process under the direction of management.

Job duties include:

Asset Management –Manage the design, implementation, and optimization of University-wide technology assets, including receiving, asset tagging, updating the asset management system, checking out equipment, and decommissioning equipment. Audit and report on inventory, including developing inventory forecasting models to support recommendations on inventory levels and stocking strategies.
Analysis and Consultation –Evaluate asset management processes for opportunities for standardization and continuous improvements. Report on metrics, propose process improvements, and execute process reengineering under the direction of management.
Other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a related field
