What will I be doing in this role?

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for the unscheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance of equipment and services as assigned to Facility Management, Engineering, Senior Craft Workers, Craft Specialists, and contractors performing the work. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing, supervising and supporting required maintenance or construction. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the proper coverage for the area of responsibility. The Operations Supervisor must satisfy the requirements of the Medical Center and as directed by the Manager, Engineering. The Operations Supervisor participates on committees such as department Policies and Procedures, Job Descriptions, Construction, Hazardous Waste, etc.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar major preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of direct experience with the trade work of the area of responsibility in a healthcare facility required.

• A minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
