The primary purpose of this new position is to gather, synthesize, and analyze financial data to support budget creation and tracking for the Cambridge Housing Authority (“CHA” or “Authority”) and its departments, as well as to prepare corresponding reports. The incumbent will also serve as the EMPHASYS Elite data expert for financial information, developing reports for the Authority and coordinating with the IT department to ensure that financial data needs are being met in Elite.
The successful candidate will primarily deal with development accounting and provide financial and data support while the CHA continues to develop RAD LLCs. This position will provide due diligence, QA services and investor reporting. It is imperative that the candidates have superb IT skills as this person will be the focal point of fiscal related reports from Elite or any other software the CHA will be using in the future. Other requirements include Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field, and a minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated budget experience, including preparation, administration, and reporting.
