The Diocese of Wilmington/Catholic Charities is accepting applications for the position of Administrator of Marydale, a HUD/Section 8,108 unit community for low-income seniors and persons with disabilities under age 62 who require the features of an accessible unit.
Essential Functions Include:
Assist in the development, implementation and oversees the annual budget and program goals and objectives.
Manage and monitor vacancies, renovations and move-outs/move-ins ensuring occupancy goals are met.
Conduct/direct the processing of all applications for housing, including all required paperwork, documentation and interviewing.
Coordinate and manage repairs to buildings and grounds ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.
Provide leadership, management and supervision for Marydale employees.
Assure required HUD, DSHA, Diocesan reports and forms are completed.
Ensure all supportive programs (pastoral, community service, etc.) are carried out.
Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, Public Health Administration, plus 5 years’ experience in housing management or community services management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with HUD/Section 8 multi-unit housing facilities and HUD rules and procedures, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program and Delaware State Housing Authority.
Proven strong leadership, supervisory and management skills
Demonstrated collaboration, communication and organization skills.
Possess financial management knowledge.
